2008 League Team Self-Selection

Tell us at what level you want to play this year!

We hope to be running 5 teams again this year as follows:

Gold playing in GLMSL division 2 at Wandsworth
Blue playing in GLMSL division 4 at Finsbury Park
Red playing in GLMSL division 5 at Clapham
Green playing in GLMSL division 6 at Finsbury Park
Black playing in Publishing League at Primrose Hill

Team Selection
This year placement into league teams will be based on a number of things:

Your own team selection preference;
The number of players selecting to play in a particular team;
Your league performance from last season;
An assessment of your softball-playing skills based on your performance at one (or both) of our assessment days - we will be running two Sunday open sessions, on 30th March and 6th April. They won't be as formally structured as last year but will be run similar to a normal training session.

As a club we always try to put people where they want to play, unfortunately we cannot always do this for all players. If a team is oversubscribed or under subscribed we will have to move players up or down based on the factors above.

Ideally we would like some more experienced players to opt for playing in the Black team to provide an environment where rookies can learn from more experienced players in a game situation. Please consider this in your selection.

Deadline
All league team selections need to be made on or before Monday 24th March, i.e. Easter Monday. Anyone who doesn't return a self selection we will assume you do not want to play in the league this year.

We have been sending our membership a personal link to an online survey. However, some members have reported that they have not received an email containing the survey URL. As a result, please try clicking the following link which will allow you to send an email to the Club to confirm your choices for the coming year:
